ETHICS: Observing the journalists Code Of Ethics as defined by the Australian Journalists Association.
TRAINING: Conducting masterclasses, workshops, and refresher courses in journalism for working or retired journalists as well as members keen to develop skills in journalism.
BONDING: Sharing ideas and information at regular meetings and through group emails and social media.
BRIEFINGS: Conducting news briefings and preparing proper press conferences for community organisations and individuals.
FUNDRAISING: Supporting fundraisers as a group or as individuals that contribute to the welfare of journalists and the cause of journalism within the Filipino community and elsewhere in the world.
REACHING OUT: Offering advice and assisting the Filipino community in Sydney in the areas of journalism such as preparing press releases and news photography.
